books with honorifics in the title
I’ve never noticed any particular trend in my own reading with this topic. I suspect the majority of honorifics in titling come with historical fiction, which I don’t read much of, but I do read a lot of fantasy, so maybe scanning my reads will prove me wrong.

- The Straw King by Danielle Paige (review): fairytale reimagining
- The Queen of Oz by Danielle Paige (review): fairytale reimagining
- The Lady’s Forbidden Love by Wendy Vella (review: historical romance
- A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin (review): fantasy
- Daughter of the Pirate Queen by Tricia Levenseller (review): historical fiction
- Arrows of the Queen by Mercedes Lackey (review): fantasy
- Winter Queen by Amber Argyle (review): fantasy
- The Weaver and the Witch Queen by Genevieve Gornichec (review): historical fantasy, reimagining
- The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen (review): magical realism
- Summer Queen by Amber Argyle (review): fantasy

I love the contrasting covers of Winter Queen and Summer Queen.
It was my suggestion for the topic this week and I’m loving all these choices!

You had quite a few with King and Queen, that’s pretty cool. Have a great week.
The cover of The Sugar Queen is making me hungry. 😂
Historical romance seems to be the best genre for this prompt (and one I rarely read), but I managed to find 10 titles in the general historical fiction and historical mystery genres (both of which I love). You found some great, unique ones. Well done!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
