the blurb

Christmas time is here again and the Holiday Haven is buzzing with festive fun!
Lumi’s life is thrust into seasonal overdrive as throngs of visitors make their way to her family’s reindeer sanctuary, eager to sip hot cocoa and visit with Santa’s retired fleet.
Rumors are swirling that she might be getting a shiny new diamond ring in her stocking this year, but Lumi isn’t so sure. If anything, Prince Corbin seems to be giving her the cold shoulder, leaving her to wonder if she’s headed for holiday heartbreak instead.
Before she can worry too much about her absentee beau, she’s approached by the North Pole’s leading veterinarian who has a special—if not strange—request.
There’s a thief on the loose in Holiday Haven and Doc Patches has reason to believe his own nephew may be behind the recent crime spree.
Can Lumi get to the bottom of the mischief before it spreads to the North Pole?

my review

Lumi has been one of my favorite characters throughout the series, so I was excited to read this installment. Life has changed for her so much since last Christmas, in ways she’d never imagined. And once again, she finds herself embroiled in another mystery.

This is always going to be one of my favorite cozy mystery series. I love this world so very much!

About Danielle Garrett

From a young age, Danielle Garrett was obsessed with fantastic places and the stories set in them. As a lifelong bookworm, she’s gone on hundreds of adventures through the eyes of wizards, princesses, elves, and some rather wonderful everyday people as well.

Danielle lives in Oregon, and while she travels as often as possible, she wouldn’t call anywhere else home. She shares her life with her husband and their house full of animals, and when not writing, spends her time being a dedicated servant for three extremely spoiled cats.
