the blurb
Emma Hardy hasn't been able to forget Sam Carter, or his incredible kiss in the elevator. Sadly, he rocked her world (and her libido), then calmly walked away, quit his job, and disappeared for two months. Not exactly the hot kiss follow-up she'd been hoping for. But Sam was busy making plans. And now, thanks to a glued-together gnome name George, a set of handcuffs, mistletoe, and a meddling adult store cupid disguised as an eccentric but innocent grandmother, Emma's about to get the greatest Christmas gift of all...true love.
my review
Note: This novel was previously titled Gnome of the Holidays and later Mischief Under the Mistletoe.
Gnome for the Holidays is the third installment of the Gnome Novels, a novella published in time for the Christmas season, intended to be a bit of a “word snack” between full-length novels. The story is just as complete, just as fun as the first, but had a different tone to it. I have loved all of the Gnome novels, books with a perfect blend of fun, humor, sexiness, romance, and mystery. This novel had less of the mystery of the previous two books, but was simply a fun and romantic story that I really enjoyed. Although it is the third in the series, it can easily be read alone or in any order with the other two books. Instead of following the same characters from book to book, Zane’s main characters become minor characters, allowing for a new and fresh set of main characters. It’s a fun way of adding a bit of continuity while having a fresh new story each time.
