The Morgan Brothers series are standalone romances with interconnecting characters. Each novel focuses on one couple (no cliffhangers!) and can be read in any order, but you'll enjoy reading them chronologically to learn more details about the family.

my review

This is the final book in the Morgan Brothers series, which can all be read as standalones. This is the story of August and Caroline, a best friends to lovers story.

The relationship dynamics were a big part of why I enjoyed this book. Whether it was family, friendship, or romance, the relationships (good and bad) were fascinating. I loved the dynamic between August and Caroline as friends, even more when that changed. They were so close, so supportive of one another, and that was a beautiful things to see. That supportiveness was a dynamic that was also between the brothers, which is something I loved. Even those relationships that were far from good were so interesting and juicy to read. They were just so relatable to me, and I loved that.

And the suspense aspects… I LOVED that part of it. The angstyness, the betrayal… all of it. It really made the book a page-turner!
