My teaser is from The Sword and Its Servant by Victor Salinas.
Death was a gift to be given by her captors when the time came. (Kindle Locations 233-234).
The luxury of having another person to be near and speak with and feel desired by was compelling— irresistible. (Kindle Locations 243-244)
I have just started this book and I am really enjoying it thus far!

This week’s question: What are the books that will always remain on your shelf?
There are several!
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
This is an all-time favorite that I love to fall into.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
This is one of the most beautiful books that I have ever read, one that has haunted me.
Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey
This is a series that is made up of trilogies, duologies, and standalones. I absolutely love the world of Valdemar.
Mists of Avalon series by Marion Zimmer Bradley
This is a series that takes research to read chronologically, a lot of overlapping. But it is a series that I adore.
There are many more, but these are probably my top picks!
I still have not read Fault in the Stars, I am going to tackle it this week! No more excuses.
It was such an amazing book, in my opinion. I absolutely loved it!
Thanks so much for doing TMST this week :)
Great teasers — that sounds like an interesting read!
Here’s my TT post.
Oh Cinder and Scarlet are really good books, very unique for a YA series. I hope you enjoy all of your books on your summer list!
