Artist Appreciation Week of Laura Zalenga

Whoever said that one should never judge a book by it’s cover… lied.  It happens.  I do it, we all do it.  A beautiful cover draws you to the book.  It is the first thing we see, before ever making it to the magic of the words inside.  And it takes a talented artist to stand out among dozens of gorgeous cover.  With that in mind, author Emma Mills has decided to have a week-long blog event to celebrate her woderful cover artist, Laura Zalenga!  Laura did the cover of the second book in Emma’s WitchBlood series, Witchcraft, and now has redone the cover of the first book, WitchBlood, which I am revealing here today.  And all of this will culminate in the cover reveal for the upcoming third book in the series, Witchlove.  Every day this week, Emma will be showcasing a photo of Laura’s on her blog and talk about why she chose that photo.  You can visit Laura at her website, her Facebook, and view some of her wonderful photos on Flickr.

And the new cover of WitchBlood!

I love this cover and it works so beautifully with the second cover in the series, below:

::spread the love::
