my review

I’ve loved Star’s story so much throughout the Winter Witches of Holiday Haven series. She and her mom have had a rocky relationship, which I feel is a relatable issue, as are the trust issues she has as a result. So it’s made this part of the series especially poignant as Star navigates her relationship with her mother and that with her boyfriend Everett. And we meet her mother’s new boyfriend Danny, who’s the “number five guy in the North Pole.” Dear God, he was a character! And there are things about him that threaten Star’s still healing relationship with her mother.

Great mystery, great story!
