about this week’s theme

I just finished a book with recipes, and it made me realize that I love that in a book. It’s like a little surprise, an extra bang for my proverbial buck! So here’s my list…

  1. Lunar Love by Lauren Kung Jessen
  2. First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen
  3. Death by Darjeeling by Laura Childs
  4. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
  5. Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
  6. Catering to Nobody by Diane Mott Davidson
  7. An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good by Helene Tursten
  8. Chronicles of a Radical Hag by Lorna Landvik
  9. Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen
  10. Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala

I had read Everything Everything and the titles by Sara Addison Allen, but I had forgotten that they had recipes! Nancy Atherton’s mystery series is another that includes a recipe in each book. Kerry Greenwood sometimes includes recipes at the end of her mysteries. Happy reading!
