I am honored to have Hope Tarr on the blog today, author of the fabulous Suddenly Cinderella series!

I love the winter holidays. A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS CAROL, the second installment of my Suddenly Cinderella Series for Entangled Publishing is also my fourth Christmas themed romance!

But really, can you think of a more romantic time of year than Christmastime? Roaring fires, Jack Frost nipping at your…nose, bundling beneath the blankets and canoodling beneath the Christmas tree…

Starr, my Scrooge-Cinderella heroine of A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS CAROL, started out loving Christmas—until a hard knocks life stole her holiday spirit away. Matt Landry, the sexy new art director at the magazine where Starr works as managing editor is convinced that beneath her
prickly exterior, his cute curmudgeon colleague has a heart of gold—only ever time he asks her out, he gets only icicles in response.

Fortunately like Scrooge, Starr has The Powers That Be on her side. Embodied in one sexy Christmas Spirit guide, who just happens to look, smell, and feel like real life Matt Landry, they will make sure she takes a good, long look at her Christmases Past, Present and Yet to Be. And like Cinderella, she has an awesome pair of magical shoes, not glass slippers but something even better (and a lot less breakable)—vintage scarlet velvet Saks Fifth Avenue slippers.

Small surprise, one of my favorite winter holiday traditions is snuggling up with a good glass of wine and watching a classic film version of A Christmas Carol, preferably several. The best ever film portrayal of Scrooge? For me, it’s George C. Scott.

How do you like to celebrate the holidays? What’s your favorite tradition for making merry?

Wishing you all a holiday season brimming with mistletoe moments and fairytale dreams come true!
