my review

Under the Blazing Stars is a standalone book in a multi-author series, and it was such a fun read!

Sometimes, with such a short read, the romance can feel rushed, even forced. But there was none of that in this story. Patrick has known Alec, who his older brother’s best friend, for most of his life, so the change from friend’s to lovers didn’t seem at all disingenous. Their changing dynamic is beautiful to read, as they find their way to this new normal between them. Their flirting and the banter between them was so sweet, and it makes the reader really get behind both characters.
