  • my review
  • a few notes

Although this is set in the greater Sherbrooke world, it is the second book in a spin-off series that can be read independently of the original series.

I love the characters in this book and in this series. They are good people, independent and intelligent. In this one, it’s about characters rebuilding trust after reconnecting. It’s about overcoming the past and giving chances to those who may have once hurt you.

The story has all the makings for a satisfying romance!

POV: 3rd person; dual
keywords/phrases: family, dysfunction, guardian
tropes: second chance romance
