the blurb

Long before Lauren escaped to the mortal realm and fell in love with Dermott, she was simply known as Lore, the daughter of Morgen Le Fae. This short tale covers the role she played in the betrayal and murder of the Lady of the Lake.

my review

Lore is a super short novella, about 16 pages, a prequel to Shimmerspell.  The author suggests reading it after Shimmerspell, as it is really not a stand alone work.  This story centers around Lauren and her history within the Arthurian mythology.  Short or not, it is an absorbing story that explains a lot of Lauren from the first book.

It’s a very fast read, but definitely worth reading because it adds a lot to the series.  Next up is Limerick.

About Kimberly Spencer

Kimberly Spencer is an avid reader, writer and non-arithmeticer. Seriously, don’t ask her to count anything. If she’s not working on the next book in The Faerie Tale Girl Series, she’s probably fighting with her three-year-old shih tzu Macho. Her favorite authors are Rachel Vincent, Cassandra Clare, and Gena Showalter.
