my review

Ōkami is the first of two short stories between the two Flame in the Mist novels. This one is a continuation of the first book, from the title character’s perspective, not a rehashing of the story told in the book. In truth, the story is not truly necessary in order to fully understand the central plot lines of the duology, but it is still a nice addition to it, especially if you fell in love with Ōkami in the first book.
